Suggestion for the Forum

Allowing members to delete their posts/comments:

Maybe this has already been addressed and I missed it, but if there is reasoning behind not allowing people to delete stuff please let me know.

My assumption is that we don't want to allow people to delete useful discussion once it is no longer useful to them, but perhaps a compromise would be allowing people to delete posts/comments with no replies?

It seems like a trend that people either ask a question, then figure out the answer before anyone can reply, and then can't delete the post. The other thing I see/do a lot is that someone "answers" when they meant to "comment" and then can't fix their mistake.
