Surfing Contest

I'm working on a project designing a website for a surfing comp. I want to have three boards at the bottom that change color and size when you hover over the coordinating links. I want to do it in code but I can't figure out how to make a surfboard shape out of code

The egg here might be useful as a start https://css-tricks.com/examples/ShapesOfCSS/ You'd need to elongate it and make the ends pointier
