SVG based website

Hey guys! I just recently came across this site:

http://myrainbownursery.co.uk/

and noticed that all the graphics here are in the svg format. Does anyone know of any resources for how I could get started working with svg? I'd also like to figure out how to animate as well.

Jonathan,

Allison teaches an excellent introduction to using svg images in a responsive layout. The video is part of the Build a Responsive Website project, and it is titled Flexible Images Part One: Vector Graphics.

Hope that helps!

SVG support is limited but definitely worth looking at. I would google around first to get an idea. There are plenty of blog posts to choose from :)

great, thanks guys :D

There is basic SVG support is in all major browsers except for IE, which added support in IE9 current SVG support over on http://caniuse.com

To get you started, you can read this blog post on using SVG over on A List Apart
