SWIFT?

I am looking to build an app to help retrieve information about Herbs (I am an acupuncturist/herbalist by trade). So far, I have built an excel spreadsheet that has the beginnings of the information I will want to retrieve but I definitely plan on adding more as I only have about 150 herbs so far. Would I look to SWIFT to build this kind of app? I am still pretty much a novice in the tech world so any advice on how to best go about getting this done would be fabulous!

Thanks!

Personally i would move the information from the spreadsheet into a cloud service like Parse this will store all the information into a database once you have this running all the information can easily be added to the app since it's retrieving it from a cloud service here is a little taster of how to do simple things like this Using parse with swift also i would be very surprised if treehouse didn't do a course on using parse with swift since there is an objective-c one :) hoped this helped

From what I've heard from other people it's best to learn Objective-C and Swift for app development at this period of time.
