Hey Arnold Zhulali,

I'm currently taking the Swift Development course and I think I'm developing a good foundation to create apps of my own. While watching the videos I'm constantly thinking how I can apply what I'm learning to something of my own, and there have been a lot of useful crossovers so far.

Personally, I don't believe theres any course that will give you ALL the knowledge to develop your own specific idea, as each project has a specific set of problems that need to be solved. However, I do think you will benefit from taking the Swift course by becoming a better problem solver.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your studies!

Thank you for your answer. I know that one course does not exist to cover everything but after this do you get any idea where to go from here what to read what to learn etc.

Hey Arnold Zhulali,

I'm curious if I'll know what to do after I complete the course myself, but recently I've stopped worrying about it. For the time it takes to complete the course, even if I don't know what to do next, I'll be happy with what I have gained from it in that time. Now I have very little prior experience, and I don't know what your history is, but I'm about halfway through the course and I have found it very rewarding so far.

I'm currently studying Swift full time and would be glad to work with you. I look at the iOS forum whenever I can.

Good luck!

Hey whoswho, I would love to work with you too but I just started learning swift and I think you are far away for the moment. One question how much do you learn in a day and how long have you been studying swift?

I've only been working on Swift since the beginning of the month, so maybe 4-5 days? I've been binge studying so I don't really know how much time I put in daily, but multiple hours. I actually plan on running through the course twice so where you're at is not a problem. I'm just a highly determined newbie

Hi Arnold!

I would recommend that you take a look through the course and look at the apps that you will be creating as this will give you a good idea of the level you will get to. You will learn enough in the course though to create your very own apps and start applying for iOS development jobs at companies who use Swift.

I hope that this answer helped you out!

Luke thanks a lot for the answer. I just wanted to know wil it give me the skills to make apps right from my mind not just the ones on the tutorial? For games I know they are harder, just for apps.

Hi Arnold,

The courses here will help you develop a good foundation to build on. What kind of apps are you planing on building?

Its kind of an ecomerce social network thing?

Aha great so we can work togather ;)
