[Swift] Lowering Brightness to a certain standard with a button

Hello,

I'm trying to determine how to lower brightness by a button in my storyboard.

I've figured out how to complete this automatically when starting the app, however, am unable to manually do this with a button.

Here is the code I have inserted into my AppDelegate.swift UIScreen.mainScreen().brightness = CGFloat(0.5)

Any tips are appreciated :) Andrew
