"Our other iOS teacher Gabe, will focus on teaching the Objective-C language (yes, you need to know it, too) "
I'd like to know why it is recommended to still learn Objective-C and why new courses on this subject are being created here at treehouse?

I asked myself the same question, why do I need to know Objective-C?. In fact, I am not interested with learning it, I like swift a lot, and swift seems to be the future, now that it was announced that it's going to be open source and all.
It's like saying "Learn Latin" since a lot of languages came from there. No thanks lol
Just my opinion.
