switch statements challenge

Get past one and then stuck on the next. I can't imagine what this one is asking for, if not this. How else can I check for these other 2 conditions?

switch.php
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
    $role = 'subscriber';
}

//change to switch statement
switch ($role) {
  case 'admin':
    echo 'As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.';
    break;
  case 'editor':
    echo 'As an editor, you can add or edit any post, and delete your own posts.';
    break;
  case 'author':
    echo 'As an author, you can add, edit, or delete your own post.'
    break;
  default:
    echo 'You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.';
    break;
}

Hi Russell, really everything with your code is right, well... almost everything, the main reason your code doesn't pass is because you are missing a semicolon in the 'author' case, also you dont need to break the default case, so with modifying those 2 lines you will be good to go

here's the code

<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
    $role = 'subscriber';
}

//change to switch statement
switch ($role) {
  case 'admin':
    echo 'As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.';
    break;
  case 'editor':
    echo 'As an editor, you can add or edit any post, and delete your own posts.';
    break;
  case 'author':
    echo 'As an author, you can add, edit, or delete your own post.'; //added a missing semicolon
    break;
  default:
    echo 'You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.';
    // you dont need to break the default action
}
