Syntax error

I have the public final int MAX_PEZ = 12; When I say in my main class (class objects name).MAX_PEZ; It shows an error, Syntax error, insert "AssignmentOperator Expression" to complete expression. What did I do wrong?

the problem is in your context You wrote

PezDispenser.MAX_PEZ;

You didn't tell the program what to do with it .For example you could have wrote System.out.printf(PezDispenser.MAX_PEZ);
