8,128 PointsUnfortunately email clients can be just as troublesome as web browsers when it comes to rendering your HTML. Because there are many different email clients there is no guarantee that they will all render your HTML emails in exactly the same manner.
To answer your question, it would depend on the email client (Outlook, gmail, Apple Mail ect) as well as the version of that particular email client. Some may support table attributes while others will not (I'm looking at you Outlook -_-). Furthermore the manner in which each email client renders these tables will differ from one another.
You have to identify which email clients you will be supporting when coding your emails and research which attributes each supports.
