Tablet options not showing up in Illustrator.

For some reason, even with an Intuos 5 attached, the brush options relating to tablet (pressure, bearing, etc.) are still greyed out in the brush dialog boxes.

Anyone else had to deal with this? My tablet works just fine in other programs, including Photoshop CC. I've heard that opening the program with a tablet click instead of mouse can help, but that didn't work for me.

I had the same problem. A course slipped in there on how to setup your graphics tablet would be great!

Edit: Also baffling, if I open Mat's project files for the next lesson and select the Calligraphic brush he created, Bearing and Tilt remain ghosted, but are checked anyway, and the brush actually does respond to bearing and tilt while drawing. However, I can't go back in and then check any of the other ghosted tablet options. So it's definitely some kind of program issue.
