Task 3 - Swipe refresh layout seems to have a bug

Code under Main Activity worked for task 1 & 2 where the declaration and binding are made. But setting the listener does not work.

public SwipeRefreshLayout mRefreshLayout = (SwipeRefreshLayout) findViewById (R.id.refreshLayout); mRefreshLayout.setOnRefreshListener(mOnRefreshListener);

The error messages consist of mRefreshLayout package not found

MainActivity.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v4.widget.SwipeRefreshLayout;
import android.support.v4.widget.SwipeRefreshLayout.OnRefreshListener;

public class MainActivity extends ListActivity {

    /*
     * Some code has been omitted for brevity
     */

    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
    }

    public SwipeRefreshLayout mRefreshLayout = (SwipeRefreshLayout) findViewById
        (R.id.refreshLayout);
    mRefreshLayout.setOnRefreshListener(mOnRefreshListener);

    public OnRefreshListener mOnRefreshListener = new OnRefreshListener() {
        @Override
        public void onRefresh() {
            // Code that refreshes the content in the layout...
        }
    };
}

Hey there! You have it correct for the most part, you just put it in the wrong place. This line of code:

mRefreshLayout.setOnRefreshListener(mOnRefreshListener);

needs to be put inside the onCreate method because you want to set the OnRefreshListener when the app is started.
