Task 4 coding challenge floats

The copyright text in the footer needs to be moved down below the floated elements. Select .copyright and apply the property and value that clears both the left and right floats.

Bummer: Make sure you're selecting the class 'copyright'.

Floats Still Collapsing even after trying clearfix.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

.clearfix::after {
  content: "";
  display: table;
  clear: both;
}
.footer-nav
{
  float:left;
}
.footer-nav li
{
  float:left;
}

.logo
{
  float:right;
}
.copyright
{
  margin-top:100px;

}

Hi,

you have overdone the exercise a bit. If you look in your HTML, the only place the clear fix should be applied is in the <footer>.

With regards to your error, you should do exactly what they say in the assignment . Tak the class .copyright and give it the property that clears all floats. Your css would then look like this:

...
//your previous code here
...
.copyright {
   clear: both;
}
