Techdegree project submissions

What is the current length between project submissions? I have read the through the community questions and I have seen once every two weeks and once every week. Which time period is correct?

Carl,

Say you submit your first project. If it gets a "needs work" grade, then you'll get the project back and can resubmit immediately, though I strongly suggest waiting at least 24 hours from when you think you fixed it. Giving yourself that extra time to sit on the solution you created can help you catch easy mistakes. If the project passes, then you can turn in the next new project a week from when your previous project passed. I would take that time to take (or retake) the relevant classes, double check the project requirements (they are subject to change until you reach the section), and get some peer feedback. So to recap:

  • There's no waiting period for resubmission of a previously "needs work" graded project, though I strongly recommend it.

  • You can submit a new project 7 days after you pass the previous project.

  • Be sure to double check instructions and rubric requirements on projects you work ahead on, as they are subject to change until you reach the section.

Happy coding!

I have a few questions...

  • What is the turnaround time for project reviews?
  • Does it depend on which project?
  • Will resubmitted projects usually have a faster turnaround time?
