It would be nice to include the Slack channel in the $99 plan for the techdegree. Any thoughts on this? What do people think?

898 PointsThe $99 Techdegree plan is great for those who want to use the courses and build all twelve projects. With this plan, there are no extra services such as Slack, Mentors Sessions, or Project Review.
The $199 Techdegree plan provides Slack, and peer review for projects. No mentor sessions are included.
The $399+ Techdegree plans include Slack, Professional Project Reviews, and 2 mentors sessions a month

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 30,885 PointsWhen you say "project review", what exactly does that entail? Is there any interaction with Treehouse staff and a student's projects/capstone project at all on the $99 plan?

You are given either a "Needs Work", "Meets Expectations", or "Exceeds Expectations" based on your performance. Project reviews are important because they offer you insight into your code; they let you see things you otherwise wouldn't have. For instance, I just submitted a project that utilized a recursive algorithm to check a "log" of sorts, and even though it "appeared" to work, it wasn't truly random AND there were some errors in terms of how I passed parameters to the function. Since your plan does not come with project review, I am going to guess that you will not receive any feedback on any of your projects. I would highly recommend you upgrade to the $199 program. It is extremely helpful.

Python Development Techdegree Graduate 38,554 PointsA little confused to where two of these TechDegree plans are. Once I log into the Enrollment section of my account, I only see the $199 option.
How would I select the other two plans ($99 & £399+)?
Thanks, Michael J

898 PointsHi Michael
If you'd like to move to another plan as I described above, we can move you to the $99 option or the $399+ option. If you have more questions regarding the plans, just ask.

Python Development Techdegree Graduate 38,554 PointsHi Nancy,
So I'm only able to move to either the $99 or £399+ option via contacting your support team?
Thanks, Michael J

30,003 PointsThe A/B testing of plans has EVERYONE confused. Limiting the techdegree community involvement with each other on any tier really just does not seem like a smart move. Id absolutely love to help/mentor with peers as we go through the same projects and I'm many others would as well.
That being said we could setup an "unofficial" slack group on slacks free tier to accomplish the same thing. Not sure how treehouse would feel about that though...
Edit: I actually didn't even realize that the $99 plan didn't include any reviews whatsoever.

Python Web Development Techdegree Student 8,998 PointsI don't see why they would have a problem with an unofficial slack channel. That being said I created a slack channel so I guess we will see! If you see this shoot your email to binford.blake@gmail.com and I will send you an invite.
