CSS

Text positioning

this might seem like a a silly question, but im trying to learn.

I would like my text to look like this

                 text text text text
                 text text text text
                 text text text text
                 text text text text

whats the best practice to do this?

The easiest way to do this is to use 2 divs nested inside of each other, then use width and margin to get the alignment.

<div class="container">
  <div class="text">text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text</div>
</div>
.container { width: 300px; }
.text {
  width: 175px;
  margin-left: auto;
  margin-right: 0;
  text-align: right;
}

Thanks James
