TextEditer for Mac

My html being saved by "TextEdit" on Mac will NOT show up in any browser correctly. It just shows the text I wrote.

Can you post up what you have? That way we can see what is being done. In the meantime though are you using html tags, Doctype, etc..

I would also suggest that you use a text editor like Sublime Text. It has more features and after you set things up it can become an incredible tool.

Thanks, Richardo...Someone gave me the answer to fix it, but I am also going to download Sublime, which everyone has mentioned...Is there a way I can mark my question as 'answered'? (I'm new) and I feel bad b/c everyone's being nice enough to help, and so now my problem is solved.

Sublime text is great, I started working in 'textedit' myself, its usable but Sublime has a much better feel really easy to use, good luck.
