Textedit-unable to link pages.

I am using Mac's textedit. I have my index.html and page_two.html in the same folder. Links are set up correctly. But when using the browser to preview and attempting to navigate between pages, I get the 'webpage not found.'

Address bar shows this "...website1/“page_two.html“" when I know it should be "...website1/page_two.html" What is putting "“" in the address?

Absolute links do not work as well.

Thank you.

I was have some problems with textedit on my mac today (first time attempting to use it as a text editor) and could not even get Hello World to work correctly!

I suggest you download sublime text editor 2 instead and leave textedit for note taking.

Thank you for the reply!
