TextView underlined in red. I use alt enter, no import option. Same problem when entering Button as well. Any fixes?

I could be overthinking it.

Have you tried casting it eg TextView myLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.LabelTextView);

also depending on where it is you might have to mark it as final on the declaration.
