Why do I have this error? I did everything as on the video.

it is not under R.id.

9,682 PointsDid you declare the textview on the class? lets say your TextView has the id of textview1 put this before the onCreate method
TextView = mTextview;
on the onCreate method call
mTextView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.textview1);
