thanks treehouse for nothing

...Well, wow. I mean, Treehouse wouldn't just give away points... you've gotta earn them via the challenges and quizzes. It's more fun that way, anyway. Sometimes even slight errors can make the code challenges not work, or if you do something it didn't ask- you literally need to do exactly as it says.

As for the forums, I tend to find if you put as much detail as you can into your questions when you ask for help, it makes it easier for people to answer, therefore allowing more people to be able to answer. Your questions will be answered quicker that way, but it takes time anyway. :)

Marisa Zantey well if you're such a genius why don't you try solving this challenge thank you for doing nothing on this post but getting my hopes up that someone here might actually have a brain and help me solve it but then disappointing me again like every other person on this post as well. And for your information I couldn't care less about the stupid points I just want for this question to finally be answered

I understand you are frustrated, but what makes you think that speaking to us like that is going to help get your question answered? People were giving you hints because they care that you learn the material. We now see that you just want the answer, so please be patient and it will get answered soon.

Also, please refrain from speaking to your peers like you have here. Putting down people that are trying to help you is disrespectful and rude, and will not be tolerated here.

You see, Emily, they do. That's exactly why they're not helping you. Just seeing the way you talk to others on here is reason enough to never donate time to you.

Nico Giuliani I can see that you definitely have a brain, and judging from your credentials, you are able to help me. What is confusing to me is why everyone has the knowledge to help me, yet they feel the need to not help me.

First off Emily, you were demanding the answer and being rude to people that were trying to help you by providing hints. What are you going to do in the real world when you have a job as a coder and you get stuck? Who are you going to demand the answer from when you are supposed to be the one to figure it out? You can't yell at people and expect them to want to help you, or expect to still have a job after doing so. It doesn't work like that here, and it certainly doesn't work like that in the real world.

Colin Marshall First off, I am very sorry if I personally offended you. Second, thank you for exposing to me what I was really doing. I am normally very blatant and now I understand that this can really hurt people. I understand now and I will try to improve on thinking about what I say before I say it. :)

I'm glad we were able to get through to you. I understand it's frustrating, but please don't take out your frustration on others here. Your apologies should not be directed towards me, but instead towards your peers, like Marisa Zantey, who you disrespected when she was doing her best to help you out.
