the compiler says javac: file not found

i just tried the javac instruction and it doesnt work

What's the command you typed?

Are you sure you didn't call your file example.java instead of Example.java ? It's case sensitive. Also check your folder structure. If you call the javac command from the wrong directory it won't find the file either.

I had the same issue. In my case I forgot to make the "i" capital in Introductions.java
