the console is withholding random characters.

I'm having issues with the console, when I'm typing it will just randomly not print a character. I had this issue only on the console and not anywhere else.

Does this only happen when working with Python?

It sounds like it might be a keyboard malfunction.

Yes, it has only happened when I'm writing python in the console in workspaces. I have never experienced this under any other circumstances.
