Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Getting Started with Android Setting Up an Android Development Environment for Windows

The environment variable JAVA_HOME (with the value of C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_67bin) does not point to a vaild

(Continued) JVM installation. Everytime I try to open up android studio after the initial lauch I keep getting that message. I made sure to instal JDK first and made sure it was properly installed. So what might I be missing?

You're missing a backslash toward the end (before bin). It should read C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_67****bin

I caught that almost five minutes before you got back to me, and thank you for the response! Oddly enough I had to leave off the "bin" in order for the shortcut to function.
