The exercises crash when i fill in the answer and click 'Check Work'. The screen does not reponse.

The screen crashed and stoped me from continuing to the next question when I completed the answer and click 'check work'

I know it's a very late reply but does it actually crash or just not respond?

I have a similar issue with it not responding, I do believe it's just the target area for the click and almost always have to click a second time. Make sure you're directly in the centre of the button, works for me.
