The intellisence

Intellisence does not work int he IDE

had this same problem. I tried the following and it solved the problem.

In Eclipse go to

Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Editor -> Content Assist -> Advanced

And check the boxes labeled "Java Proposals" and hit Apply.
