when i remove display:none from the code the overlay fade but when i add it it's doesn't work!! i don't know what's wrong.here is the code: https://w.trhou.se/az8xrvvrum

the display:none attribute will hide the #overlay div so that's why it only appears when you remove that css attribute from #overlay.
