Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Del

The question is asking me to use del(planned) to delete the variable 'planned' but is not recognizing my input.

I believe the code is correct, but it is not accepting it.

delete.py
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2

del(planned)

"Del" is a statement keyword, not a function, so you don't need parentheses around the term being deleted. Just separate it from "del" with a space.
