Hey everyone, So I will be getting my refund in the next few days and I am FINALLY upgrading my laptop that can't even run Mavericks. I'm considering the Macbook Air. I'm saving up for a desktop to come later. This will primary just be for my Rails studies and if I, hopefully, get accepted into a development bootcamp. Whattya think?

32,861 PointsI'm not sure what specific model you're after, but you can save some money by buying refurbished from Apple's online store. You have the same warranty options that they offer for new Macbooks.
