The workspace for this video isn't working.

I just followed along with the video anyways and think I grasped most of the content.

I think I'm having the same problem. The workspace is fine for a couple of minutes, and then it tells me I no longer have a connection (and suggests that I should check my internet!).

Well my problem is that I just either am stuck waiting or I get redirected to the main Treehouse workspaces page.

There is a chance I accidentally left a workspace open while I tried to open another. That might have had something to do with it.
