There is any difference between align-items and align-self?

In flexbox i just learnt about align-self, but then i discovered that there is a property called align-items that basically do the same things.

There is a difference between those two property or are they the same thing?

Hi Soufiane,

align-items will determine how all the flex items display whereas align-self is for overriding this on individual items.
