General Discussion

There should be a way to connect with Treehouse user in your area

I hope an admin will see this. Is there a feature to see users in our geographical vicinity. Many users on the forum are asking to connect with others to collaborate etc. Maybe a feature to add

that'd be a great idea..

Right - I was looking for this when i started my profile here.

Love this idea.

I've just noticed there's a way to add Meetup groups-

Umm.... Still now what I was looking.

I would suggest something that we can message each-other rather then just events type of thing.

I haven't been able to find a meetup group closer than 90 miles from me. I live in a college town so I refuse to believe there are no other beginner coders who would benefit from forming a working/learning group around. With as many people as are on Treehouse there might be some in my area. And we all know Treehousers (what the heck are we calling ourselves?) are great folks!

That's a long way of saying I like Chris' idea.

This is a great thread. perhaps a project Treehouse members could make? :D
