There's also an untracked file named prototype.html - let's add that to the staging area as well.

i try git commit -m prototype.html and git commit . i think im doing something wrong

Hi Martina,

I think the problem may be that you haven't staged the file so it can be tracked or you were trying to do that but there was a typo.

I'm going with the latter.

git add prototype.html

then 

git commit -m

wait so it's git add prototype.html then git commit - . I thought it was git commit - m prototype. we have to add it first then commit .
