Hi, Everyone. I need your advice. Currently I work in Dubai. But my plan is to go back home-country (Uzbekistan) after one year. My major is an English language teacher. The problem is the salary of teacher is low in my country. That's why I decided to change to Web Developer. In Uzbekistan, the web development is not so popular so far. What I wanted is to work as a Freelancer from my home. For me, If I can earn 1000 USD a month, I am satisfied. I began in Treehouse in March. I finished HTML, CSS course and I did my small project that I created basic watch website. I was really satisfied with my results. Currently I am studying JavaScript and honestly, I am struggling. Because I have a work also here. My question is that in my situation (in order to earn this amount and work from home), which languages I have to learn? Should I perfect JavaScript or should I move on another language? Or maybe I am also thinking to give up web development and do perfect my own major? What do you advice?

42,901 PointsWhy don't you try CMS' (Content Management System) like WordPress, Drupal or Joomla? You don't have to be a "programmer" to create a simple website on these platforms. These do almost all the hard work for you, you just need to get used to the dashboard. This will take you time(not too much I believe), but at the end, it's a mechanical process. You can use a lot of free designs (themes) and add cool functionalities to your website that you don't have to code (plugins). Give it a try, maybe that's what you need now, it's a simpler, faster and a widely used process to build websites.
