Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Methods Method Arguments: Part 1

this challenge makes absolutely no sense to me. i obviously cannot change the name of the method

it doesn't make sense for 2 reasons

  1. i obviously cannot change method.rb to hello.rb because its locked in place 2.do you want me to add, subract, put? the instructions are WAY too vague
method.rb
def (a)
end
```'i also tried this
def add(a)
puts a
end
add("hello")
They aren't asking you to rename they file, they ask you to make a method named hello, and the instructions doesn't provide more detail than that because that is all they require you to do. The method you create does not need to do anything, you just need to make it and name it "hello". Like this:
def hello(a)
end
oh i see ! you can name them individually. thats cool.
