Have you received any feedback from hiring managers or other potential employers? As sort of a digital generalist, you might wan to think specifically about what jobs you want to apply for – web designer, front end developer, etc? Once you have that nailed down it should become more clear how to best sell yourself and your skill-set.
Another suggestion, if you haven't done this already, is contact industry professionals asking for informational interviews. Ask for a portfolio review, what they look for in potential employees (if they do hiring), and pick their brain on how you can improve. This is a great way to get feedback and network with people in your area.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck with the search

14,213 PointsHi Joe, not sure if you are still looking for feedback but here is some:
--Overall I think the minimalist approach is a great way of highlighting your work - good job!
--Navigation/Iconography How you setup the navigation using iconography is nice, though i did get a bit confused about which icon was for which section (e.g. I thought the jewel icon was going to take me to your work done in Sketch3) Maybe add these icons to the home page's big block navigation, next to their respective words.
--RWD Since you list responsive web design in your skills, it seems odd that the home page is not RWD, at least when I resize my window from my desktop, I get a horizontal scroll bar. The other areas of the site seem to respond fine :)
--Work section I think the way you present the AcuraNSX and HipHop blog is really lovely, but then it seemed inconsistent that the other items were not treated the same, some being links to the work, others just being the image files. A possible solution would be to call out the Acura and HipHop as featured projects or case studies, in their own block/filter, then it will be somewhat less jarring to have the other projects not be shown in the same way
--Dribbble Last I just wanted to point out that your dribbble link does not work, it goes to http://www.jaysg.com/jaysg rather than https://dribbble.com/jaysg
Again nice work overall and hope my comments helped :)
