This page doesn't work. Keeps saying that task 1 no longer works

When I copy the code into a local editor it runs just fine.

I know, but I figured practicing with curly braces and .format would be a good idea. :)

I've been getting the same thing since Monday on the Ins & Outs challenge. Just tried it again and still no good.

It's working now, but here's the code I ran in Workspace to make sure I wasn't losing my mind:

name = "Veronica"

treehouse = "Tree" + "house"

email_greeting = "{} loves {}".format(treehouse, name)

print(email_greeting)

Glad it's working!

You could also have added the strings together, if you wanted. email_greeting = treehouse + " loves " + name.
