This particular example doesn't seem to work. I also tested by removing the background and just showing the smiley.png.

The background still shows up even after removing it. I have found in a number of these tests that the preview doesn't work but I can get the code to pass. Any ideas?

It looks like it's an issue with that particular Code Challenge. I went and poked around with it and it looks like it's the same issue being discussed in this thread. Sounds like the support staff already has it on their list, but you can always contact them directly if you think you've found a bug.
