This seems to be another lesson where the project files for starting do not actually provide a valid preview.

What's the deal? I just want to learn.

Sometimes extra research is necessary. This forum can be very helpful, also google, and wc3schools.com.

I guess it would be helpful if I could just follow along with code and tutorials, instead of troubleshooting just to get started. After all, this is a paid option for learning.

well now, let's try to keep a positive attitude. It's not as if this an ivy league education costing several tens of thousands of dollars. I agree that there is definitely room for improvement here, but this is a great alternative to traditional paths of higher education. Unfortunately, one of the tradeoffs is that here sometimes we have to do a little extra leg work. But sometimes that extra leg work is just what is needed to really cement the lessons we learn.

If you tell me where you are having trouble, I will try to help or at least point you in the right direction.

I do appreciate your help, Robert. I've got it figured out as of yet.

Now, we do know that there is actually Ivy League education available for free, right?

Aside, I do enjoy Treehouse's way of teaching. But to have to fix little issues for the sake of a hypothetical coding exercise seems counterproductive to what the mission.

Again, thanks a lot, and I will reach out to you if I hit any other barriers.

I'm just trying to figure it all out myself, but if I can help, I will be glad to do it.

Good luck, keep your chin up, and don't take any guff from these swine. (Not sure who the swine are exactly in this scenario, but don't you doubt it for a second, they're out there somewhere, just waiting to swine up your day.) ;)
