this seems to be OK but not sure what I'm missing

what is wrong with my simple reg ex that keeps tripping up the site?

escapes.py
import re

def first_number(foo):

    return re.search(r"\d", foo)

def numbers( count, name):

    return re.search(r"\w" * count, name)

1 Answer

The instructions can be misleading. Instead of

return re.search(r"\w" * count, name)

try

return re.search(r"\d" * count, name)
