This would be awesome to see on Treehouse

I have always dreamt of creating my own cloud storage solution (even though free alternatives such as OwnCloud exist)! Given the stage of most of the classes here I think it is totally conceivable to create a "common" class which would show you how to:

  1. create the web interface and the backed

  2. create iOS app

  3. create Android app

  4. Setup

  5. Security

This would be a really awesome and a great real-world cross-platform project!

We have considered doing a cross-platform project in the past although I'm not sure if a cloud storage solution is possible for such a project. Some projects are great to do on your own but they don't translate well while teaching. I will run it by the other teachers. Thanks for suggestion.

Great to hear that cross-platform projects are considered! I've especially offered the cloud storage as an example because I find it as being a great opportunity to build something tat you can use in the long term and learn a to from it! Aaaaand because I have no idea hot to do this on my own and what I need exactly to learn :))
