Tips on how I can improve input field effect.

I'm trying to learn CSS.

One way I do this, is to create my own effects, or sometimes try and copy cool stuff I see online without looking at the source.

I've tried to make something cool out of a normally boring textfield.

I'd appreciated any feedback, or tips on how I can improve this

For some reason all of the animation doesn't work properly in safari 8. In chrome everything works.
