Too many points ?

Hi folks,

since today I have to much points on my profile....

The sum of all my earned points is 1.928, but now there are 2.134?

Why is this happening?

Its because you earn points for providing forum answers that people have either up voted or have selected as best answer.

Hi Jacob,

thank you for quick respond. But I have at least 200 points too much that all points earnded in forums, challenges and videos. This is nothing bad but I would like to know why :)

Yeah your right! I guess enjoy those extra points. I have no idea why.

There is a reason for this that is mentioned in a file about interacting with the JSON file for your profile in some video or other. I forget where it is though.

OMG :)

This is a big file):

How did you get this????

Grigorij

It is part of an API Treehouse have. Just type the address and the username with .json at the end.

That is it basically.

If you paste the contents into something like http://jsonprettyprint.com/

You can get a more human readable format (points data is at the end). Otherwise there are extensions for chrome/firefox that do this automatically.

Thanks Barry!!!
