Touble getting ul.nav changes to display in google chrome

Hello, In lesson Finishing CSS, I have attempted to apply the ul.nav changed, but despite checking the coding three or four times against what is being typed in the lesson. Google chrome will not display the changes. It doesn't seem to be connecting with the nav class.

At this point i'm pretty much over it... any suggestions before lose my mind trying to make it work?

I don't know how to display the code i'm using through the forum.

Never mind, there was an open bracket in the html doc that I missed when I originally built the file. Head explosion aborted... for now.

I did the same thing...

I had this same problem. Here is what I did to fix it:

In your HTML change the double quotations around the "nav" to single 'nav'

Also make sure that the line above it conains the closing >
