9,324 PointsTreebook add new status as logged user
I'm trying to force the logged in user to be the status author instead of selecting which user will post the status.
All I got on my own was
<%= f.input :user_id, :as => :hidden, :input_html => { :value => current_user.id } %>
But, this represents a massive problem because the user ID is visible. If I open developer tools and change the value from 7 to 8, the author becomes the other user.
How can I accomplish that in a more secure way?
