Treehouse backend/payment language

What kind of backend programming and payment process language does team treehouse use to run their website?

A good idea would probably be to work with ruby on rails. Not sure what your current knowledge is but there is plenty available one this site.

Good luck!! o7

It used to be that you had to know php... Then Ruby got really popular. Now I'm not an expert on the subject, but what I hear is that there is a trend towards using javascript for backend work as well as frontend. As I understand it, mainly because it processes faster. I'm not sure though, but it is on my list of things to look into myself ... and they do have a "Full-Stack JavaScript" track here on Treehouse.
