treehouse doesn't teach 100% in database, need tips!

Hi

I have recently started Database lecture in Uni. and have notice that there are missing in treehouse videos. There are no information in 1NF ect. What is Entity Relation, Function Dep. ect.

I need your help! I tried in Head First SQL book but it is very similar to Treehouse.

Can you recommend me book and Youtube clip?? Or maybe Lynda.com has everything??

I have tried 2nd Edition Database by Hector Garcia-Molina and its a very boring book! and there is no solution for exercise. SAD!
