I've noticed when browsing the treehouse forums that there are hidden features that staff and others are using that I don't know how to do. For example, some posts have a "/cc link to someones profile and later in the thread the "cc'ed" person posts something. Is this a way to send someone a notification to look at a post? Also, how do you make a link to someone's profile within a question/answer/comment in the forums?

Treehouse Moderator 37,862 PointsTo tag a person so they get a notification about a post they are not following you type an @ and then start typing their user name, then select the person you want from the drop down menu that appears, the name will be high lighted when you post question, answer, or comment, this will also create a link to their profile.
