Treehouse Friends and Messaging [Content Suggestion]

I think Treehouse should implement a way of communicating between each other. I've met quite a few people on Treehouse who I would like to be able to message and talk tech with without having to give out my email constantly. It would be handy for finding other developers for forming teams.

I agree. Some sort of instant chat messaging could be useful. The community is a key difference here than at most other online code schools that don't offer a forum or chat. Check out FreeCodeCamp, they use an instant message chat for users - and, is not a replacement for TreeHouse but a nice supplement.

This is actually something I'd like to have as well. There are times when I'd like to message a person more privately, to check on them after I've answered one of their questions or to see how they're doing on a course.

I could see the implementation getting a little complex, and possibly legal as well. But it's something I'd really like to have.
