Do any of you communicate with like minded and/or similar skilled Treehouse members anywhere else? Or is there something more community-like than just this forum?

Python Development Techdegree Student 17,801 PointsPatrick Spring do you know of one that is already going for treehouse people?

16,204 PointsMaybe Faye Bridge help us find a group. She's the organizer of a treehouse meetup group in nyc. There hasn't been that much activity in the group but maybe we can get it going again if enough people participate. She's also the community manager for treehouse.

16,204 PointsHi, currently treehouse does not offer any private messaging. The only way you may be able to contact someone is if you get their private information.
If you are looking for groups you should check out meetup.com depending on where you are from you can find plenty of groups where you can meet in person and chat via messaging. for example in my area I have found groups of where you can meet other people that are just starting out. They offer free worshops on how to start coding and also have guest speakers every now and then that give out tips and tools to improve your coding.
Another great platform is slack. They offer a free membership that works great if you find a small group of coders that you want to keep in touch with talk both privately and as a group. You can do a lot of things like share files screenshots to make sharing and helping each other much easier. This option would be great if you can get a group of people from treehouse as you would all be working on the same goal.
